About the University

The University Carlos III of Madrid is a public university located in Madrid, Spain. It was founded in 1989 and is named after King Charles III of Spain. The university has three campuses: Getafe, Leganés, and Colmenarejo. The Getafe campus is the largest of the three campuses and is located in the town of Getafe, south of Madrid.

The Getafe campus has modern installations with two libraries, a sports center, and a student residence. The campus is home to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, the Faculty of Humanities, Communication and Documentation, and the Faculty of Engineering. The Getafe campus is also home to the Institute of Public Administration and the Institute of International Relations.
